About MSNA
MSNA (a 501c tax exempt non-profit organization) was formed in 2015 by a highly enthusiastic group of people, dedicated to bring top of the class professional artists for Indian classical music and dance performances to the Greater Lansing area. MSNA’s mission is to uphold our tradition, culture and values for generations to come. In a short time MSNA has established strong relations with MSU College of Music as well as MSU Asian Studies Center. With this alliance it would be possible to bring nothing but the best artists not only to inspire young learners and music students but also for all of us to enjoy the purest forms of our traditional music and dance thereby enriching our lives.
Our Mission
Our mission is to preserve and develop our ancient Indian music and culture. We aim to foster understanding, importance and appreciation for Indian classical music and dance and to set a platform for performance of the art. We will bring to the community highest quality performances by artists from various parts of India and abroad. We aim to inspire younger generation into learning and understanding our traditional music and dance, and thereby our values. We intend to foster collaboration, research and innovation between Indian and western classical music.
